Privacy Policy

What this service is
A chat assistant, operated by Ganesh Mani as a personal project, that answers questions about my professional background and can schedule a meeting with me.
What it collects
- Your messages. Whatever you type into the chat.
- Your email address — only if you give it to schedule a meeting.
- Meeting details you ask for: date, time, and length.
No accounts, no cookies, no advertising or analytics trackers, and no tracking across other sites.
Where it goes
- OpenAI receives your messages in order to generate replies, and processes them under its own privacy policy.
- Google Calendar receives a calendar event, including the email address you supplied, when you ask to book a meeting. Google emails you the invitation.
- Pushover may deliver me a notification that a meeting was booked.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.
What it stores
The service keeps no database. Conversations are not saved on the server — each request carries its own history, and it is discarded once the reply is sent. What persists is only what you deliberately create: a calendar event, and ordinary server logs kept briefly for debugging.
Google user data
The assistant uses the Google Calendar API with my own calendar credentials, to read my free/busy times and to create events I have agreed to. It never reads your calendar and never asks you to sign in with Google. Its use of information from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
Don't share anything you'd rather I not have — the assistant only ever receives what you type. To cancel a meeting or have your email address removed from my calendar, email me and I'll delete it.
